I took my dog here a few years ago and it was life-changing honestly. He is a rescue that weighs around 100lb and had no idea what a leash and was highly reactive to dogs. In the consultation he literally yank backwards so hard he knocked over me and my chair. The real hard part, I got a job in the city and needed to be able to walk him multiple times a day in Manhattan. I looked around and wanted to find a trainer I could trust to work with him with discipline but kindness. Leanne was a god send! I gave him for private lessons and worked with him at home with all the advise. In just a few weeks he was able to walk with me easily! We were never able to get him completely unreactive to dogs, but rather focused on impulse control and learning to walk the other way. It's been 5 years of living here now and he's great! I can even sit with him at restaurants as long as there are no dogs around! I'd recommend The Dog Spot to anyone! If she could get my goober dog under control she can help your dog too!
