The Detection Enrichment Program is designed for high-drive, high-energy dogs that need more than just physical exercise. This program channels your dogs natural instincts into structured scent work, teaching them to search, problem-solve, and work independently using their nose.
While physical activity burns energy, mental stimulation creates lasting behavioral change. Just 1520 minutes of scent work can tire a dog more effectively than an hour of runningreducing anxiety, destructiveness, and hyperactivity while building confidence and focus.
This program includes 10 structured training days within one month, where your dog will participate in daily detection sessions during daycare. Each dog progresses through foundational scent work, including box searches, room searches, and increasing levels of difficulty as their skills develop.
Owners receive daily video updates and progress reports, so you can watch your dog learn in real time. At the end of the program, youll complete a private lesson to learn how to continue working your dog at home. A take-home training aid is included so your dog can keep practicing their new skill.

As a rescue dog, he was very shut down and nervous when I got him but Jordan had the expertise and extensive knowledge to really transform my dog's behavior. And today, Jackson's more confident and less anxious then I thought possible. I'm amazed how patient and kind Jordan is all the time and Jackson really responds so positively to him and now to me too. Brooke and Jordan did an outstanding job with my Bloodhound Zuko and Pit Bull Rocky in their ten day advanced obedience program. Ever since I had adopted Rocky, he was very nervous in general and outside the home he would pancake and shake and was so uncomfortable. It was hard to see, I know he had been through a lot. I tried for months to get him to go on a long walk to tire him out but we never got very far. He hated to go in the car and would run away and I had to lift him in. The vet prescribed him trazodone and prozac but instead we enlisted The Dog School's help and it has been such a game changer for my family. Rocky came back much more confident, loves to go on walks and now will jump into my car like a champ. Zuko is less stubborn and he listens much more. We practice come and sit, heel, place and down. We now have clear communication and they are calmer in general. We can finally go on walks in City Park with both dogs, which was a goal of mine. It is so amazing to have them so tired, relaxed and not on alert in our yard. It was so fun and reassuring to get photos and videos each day of their progress. They both were so happy and proud. I don't think anyone has ever had as much fun at Home Depot as Rocky! They also took care of my 11 year old pocket pittie Cookie too, so we could finally got out of town. They are always around to answer any questions or concerns. It is very hard for me to trust anyone with my dogs and now I have peace of mind knowing my dogs are receiving the best care and training. Thank you all so much, I highly recommend the Dog School!

Brooke and Jordan are so amazing at what they do! Helped two of our rescue pups work through some challenging issues and took care of our senior pup, all while we were able to get away to visit some family.

Brooke was great to work with. Dash learned so much in just 5 days. Brooke was great at communicating with us and keeping us update on his progress. We could have never found the time to teach him all those things. We are grateful he was able to go to obedience school.
