FirstBarkToday I took my 7 month old cockapoo to his first one on one training with The Dog Man and it was an awesome experience. He has already helped me with controlling my puppy on the leash, showed me how to make him sit and he also gave him some socialization with his dogs. I was very pleased and look forward to working with him for session two.

Before working with Pat, my dog would constantly bark at people, other dogs, and even passing cars. Walks were stressful, and I struggled to get him to stay calm. Pat’s training methods are professional, effective, and based on understanding the dog’s behavior rather than just forcing obedience. With his guidance, my dog has improved tremendously—he’s calmer, more focused, and much easier to manage on walks. Pat took the time to explain the training techniques, ensuring I understood how to reinforce them at home. The Dog Man trained my super hyper puppy to walk on a leash without pulling he was really nice and had alot of patience with her and he said if I have anymore trouble with her I can call him and make another appointment if needed or he will answer questions if had had any

Even though we had dogs in the past, I wasn't prepared for the stubborn energy in Murphy, our working cocker spaniel puppy. He is sweet but, just A LOT! I felt so discouraged and overwhelmed. But after the one-on-one training Pat provided he has improved in so many areas; less pulling on our walks, sitting & staying etc., and I now feel encouraged and more in control. I tried group classes but, for us, the personalized approach was so much better! Thank you, Pat!
