This is the best dog training center I've ever encountered. Dennis and the team do an awesome job. It's effective, humane, and compassionate, and they actually know what they're doing. There are a lot of places that over-promise or that just simply don't care about your dog's wellbeing or how sustainable the training will be in the long-run. This place cares, and they set the standard for how training should be. Do yourself a favor if you're getting training. Go with these folks and apply the knowledge they give you. After great communication with the staff, including answering a ton of my questions, our pup completed the 4 week training. He is continuing to go to the refreshers and is working up to therapy dog certification. Dennis is extremely helpful and communicative! I learned so much at Teddy's graduation so that my family is able to continue with training at home. Since then, we've worked with Justin and Emily, both were extremely knowledgable and I could tell Teddy just loves them!

HIGHLY recommend this training facility!! Walt spent 4 weeks learning how to become a therapy dog and just passed his certification today. Huge shoutout to the amazing trainers here that put in the hard work, especially Dennis! They are very knowledgeable in everything they’ve taught your dog, and they are happy to teach you how to be the best handler. If you are willing to put in the work after your dog’s training, you will not regret taking your dog here😊

Dennis and his crew are an outstanding training team! We recently sent our 5-month Bernedoodle through the 4-week general obedience program - the first step for her in her therapy training journey. Through dedicated focus on positive reinforcement our pup has done wonderfully in retaining her training (nearly perfectly) weeks later. Dennis' commitment to following up with clients both on-site and in their homes is also a clear advantage to The Dog Knowledge system. Our pup, her sister, and most of her close canine-friends have now all been through Dennis' program and in-return are a happier and cohesive pack. Thanks, TDK training team. One item of minor but meaningful feedback: I would recommend to future clients to meet directly with Dennis and his team when exploring a training program that best fits your family's need. We found over multiple interactions that engaging with TDK ownership commonly led to unsolicited personal opinions related to our dog's breed and broker, as well as unwelcome and disparaging stories about former employees, clients, and other popular training approaches. While these interactions were brief, they were palpable and uncomfortable; borderline unprofessional. But again, it must be said this was not remotely the experience we had with the training team. Dennis and crew still deserve a resounding 5-star review.

Our dog went for 4 week training. He went from wild to wonderful. Although it has only been a few days, we have been able to maintain his training and correct any regression. It is easy and very impressive how well the dog has learned important behaviors. We may sign up for the advanced class as well. The staff is very friendly and overly open to support any questions or needs. We will try the daycare and boarding as well.
