We can’t recommend Dominik enough! We adopted a 1-year-old dachshund who was struggling with reactive behavior toward visitors in our home, making it nearly impossible for us to have guests over. We went to Dominik to help train Pippin, our newly adopted dog from Puerto Rico. Pippin was already a fairly well-behaved and easy dog, but he was skittish and had separation anxiety. Dominik worked with us over six sessions, training Pippin to get used to his placeboard, conquering fears of places in the neighborhood that he didn't like, better leash manners, and getting comfortable with the crate. Dominik was upfront with us that separation anxiety is one of the hardest challenges to solve. Before we started, even taking the trash out was an ordeal. Now Pippin can do about an hour and a half alone, and that progress wouldn't be possible without Dominik's help. He was very careful to guide us into training and teaching our dog so that new issues wouldn't arise or stick. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about the health of the dog. One time we had to take Pippin to the emergency hospital and Dominik was able to give some guidance and even wanted to know what the vet said even though it was quite late at night.

Murphy and I started working with Dominik to alleviate reactivity that Murphy was showing on walks & with guests in my home. Dominik took the time to really understand Murphy's behaviors & triggers, educate me on them & my role in promoting them, and then developed a tailored plan to help us work through these behaviors together and establish confidence in one another. Within one session, I saw a change in Murphy. After several, I'm happy to say that Murphy & I walk with confidence and he's now far more comfortable with guests in my home. The shift feels like night & day! I'd highly recommend Dominik for your dog training needs :)
