The Dog Behaviorist NYC

I am so grateful for Dominik! I had been dealing with my dog’s increasingly severe separation anxiety for months and had reached a point where I thought that I had completely run out of options. I didn’t have much hope that I would be able to find a workable solution for myself and my pup, but I figured that working with a behaviorist was probably my last shot. Even during our initial virtual consult, Dominik gave me invaluable advice that helped me start to see progress with my dog right away. He was a pleasure to work with in our sessions and I really learned so much from him. My relationship with my dog and quality of life for both of us has improved immensely in the months following our training. I feel much more calm and confident as a dog parent now and I can’t imagine what my life would look like if I hadn’t sprung for these sessions. I can’t recommend working with Dominik enough, especially for severely anxious dogs (and owners)!

Dominik has been absolutely wonderful with our goldendoodle, Henry. I really appreciated that Dominik listened to our goals for Henry and tailored each session to reach them. Being first time puppy parents can be quite overwhelming, but Dominik taught us the tools we needed to be able to communicate with Henry and build a strong relationship with our pup. It was so sweet to see Henry so excited whenever Dominik came over for a session. A total game changer! Thanks Dominik!

Dominik is an excellent dog trainer. Over the course of our training sessions, he gave me the tools - and often the confidence - to effectively deal with my dog's aggression issues while also making me comfortable with methods (such as a prong collar) that I'd previously misunderstood and dismissed. I'm happy to have found him and find comfort in the fact that even though our sessions have ended, he's still responsive to the occasional question via text.

I couldn't be more grateful to have found Dominick! I have a very very energetic young German Shepherd named Soba. I was really struggling to get her to stop pulling on walks and to find ways to focus her attention and spend her energy. Working with Dominick has bee quite literally life changing for me and Soba - he was extremely clear in his training and gave me all the tools I needed to continue training Soba on my own. She's now well behaved on walks, we're continuing to practice more commands, and she is able to calm herself at home which allows me to get more work done. I would recommend the Dog Behaviorist to EVERY dog owner!
