I'm so grateful that I reached out to the Dog Behavior Institute. I was struggling with my dog's reactivity and transition into life here as a foreign rescue. Ran gave me great tools to help my pup and provided such valuable insight! I particularly appreciate how they prioritized positive reinforcement and gave well researched reasoning to anything they recommended. They were so thorough and did a great job supporting me to advocate for my pup. If you're looking for compassionate and non-judgemental support in any capacity, I would highly highly recommend Ran and Stephanie.

Ran is an extraordinary trainer , behaviorist, and great people person- Ran had patience to review my training sills and explain what I should be doing to help me achieve the goals with Roxie- I wanted to work with Roxie (1.5 year old boxer) to become a better listener - Ran gave me clear demonstrations of the skills to insure our success'. A couple of things that were so hard for me to get we accomplished pretty quick- 1. Sit to a stand 2. Roxie staying on her mat to settle 3. Roxie paying a lot of attention to me- 4. Coming when called- work in progress. 5. Emergency whistle recall So much more !! I feel 100 percent confident The Dog Behavior Institute will meet and probably exceed your expectations- They will give you the tools to practice to succeed, if you practice you will succeed - Extremely professional , while keeping a fun atmosphere- Roxie enjoys training so much , as it is fun and interesting for her!!! I am the owner of a 2 yo fearful rescue dog. After a year of my own training regime I felt I needed professional dog behavior advice and through searching I decided on DBI. If you are looking for ways to help your dog become the best they can and you are willing to put in the work to train your dog this is the place for you. Stephanie came up with an individualized behavior plan which addressed my needs and my dog’s lack of appetite and her unwillingness to eat treats away from our home. As with most training, there were hits and misses. Stephanie really listens to what you and your dog are experiencing and modifies the behavior plan accordingly. Olive is a more confident dog since training with DBI.
