I’ve just become acquainted with the trainers and staff at Annie’s Ruff House doing training as The Disciplined Dog. What a special place and group of dog lovers. Our foster dog Kai just spent 8 days training with these special people. We are dog newbies and needed help assisting Kai in switching from a crazy wild child older pup to a model young lady. In 8 days she made dog friends, people friends, and learned “good dog” behaviors. She is modeling what she learned in our home and we are pleased and proud of her progress. Thank you all for giving us back a pup with such affection and promise!

I enrolled my mini Aussie in the beginning class with A.J., who is a fantastic and talented trainer. As Aussie parents know, these working dogs are ridiculously smart and need a lot of exercise and mental challenge to keep from getting bored if all they have to herd is their city humans. Training, structure, and discipline makes a huge difference for their happiness, safety, and social skills. We graduated from our beginner course and are now doing the intermediate class to continue building and expanding her skills and looking forward to continuing our progress. A.J. emails us clear instructions for homework every week so we can practice our skills at home. With just 10-20 minutes of practice a day, I have noticed a huge improvement in my pup’s skills. I love having the option for reasonably priced training here in Norman, and with our membership at Annie’s, it’s so convenient to be able to just go straight into class once a week right after day care. We absolutely love working with A.J., who is so kind and patient and professional, and she pours her heart into helping us succeed in our training. Her love and enthusiasm for the pups she trains leaves me with no doubt that we make the right choice in working with The Disciplined Dog Co.
