The Cultured Canine

Lucas and Megan did an amazing job with our dogs! We had a 14 month rottie/lab mix and a 3 month german shepherd go through a 3 week board and train. We received tons of photos and videos of their progression throughout training and both Lucas and Megan were very responsive and great at updating us through the entire training. We are still in contact with both trainers as we moved to private sessions. Our dogs progress everyday and we could not be more excited and at peace with both of our pups! Every method is explained thoroughly and we truly understand how are dogs think and why we are seeing results! The most impressive part was Lucas answering our 2 am calls when we first got our dogs back. We highly recommend Cultured Canine!!!

We recently engaged The Cultured Canine LLC in the training of our 100lb, 2 year old, black lab! After a 4 - week in board, our alpha male, counter surfing, guest jumping dog came back 90% trained. It was likely 100% when living with Megan or Lucas, but we are not dog trainers so our big, friendly lab may revert back to old habits when we aren’t looking. BUT, all in all, it has been a game changer. Upon return, Megan and Lucas trained us and our 3 girls for 4 hours and have built in 9 training lessons post return. Ah-mazing!! AND, we are now able to board our dog with Cultured Canine and leave town without worrying that our dog will pick up bad habits as a result of a kennel. Lastly, I’ve struggled with this dog as he would not listen to me, chewed everything, ate off the counter, pulled me down when walking him ... now I can show him love and affection and go on long walks. We did a 3 week train and board with our dog Leo who is also deaf and it was the best decision we could have made to train with Megan and Lucas. They were attentive and taught us how to have a strong relationship with Leo. He went from an extremely anxious dog who would cry at the top of his lungs in the crate to being such a well behaved and fun dog. They are so knowledgeable and have given us the tools we need to give Leo the best life! Even now, long after his board ended, they are always great at answering any questions we may have.
