FirstBarkRudy has had the best foundation of training through Jimmy. He has learned so much obedience and recall that helps improve his learning and keeps him safe. He’s been doing so well with his training and now we can enjoy the patio weather all together! I’d recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for training and improving their dogs life!

The Crafty Pup was created to educate people how to properly train their dog! Focused on building a strong foundation of Basic Obedience I specialize in training puppies and dogs to fit into your lifestlye! I approach training different than most - I use all praise and no treats thus resulting in your dog listening to YOU and not performing commands for food! I can train your dog to do anything you need but my emphasis is giving you the best trained dog in the neighborhood. One that walks nicely, performs each command on the first attempt, doesn't jump on your guests and comes off leash when called on the first command! I believe A Well Trained Dog Starts With A Well Trained Owner!

Before training she wouldn’t walk on a leash and was biting furniture all over the house. The Crafty Pup taught her to obey (without relying on treats) - I would highly highly recommend this spot. We couldn’t coordinate our schedules perfectly so they even kept our puppy for a few extra days of training with no extra fee. Our pup loved it here and we’re bringing her back again for boarding and e-collar training!

We chose crafty pup based on reviews. The owner is nice and or puppy stayed over the intended time due to not being ready to come home. We were not charged for the additional time. Unfortunately we are not satisfied with training. Our dog came back the same, most of what he does was taught at home. Recall, not pulling, and obedience was very important to us. We’ve kept up with trains except for down stay. I reached out to the owner and was asked to explain what was happening at home via email. No response for almost a month so I sent two additional text. Still no response. Training is costly and we wasted our money.
We have three little kids at home so we knew we needed a well trained puppy. Jimmy was great at understanding the dynamics in our house and helping our dog accordingly. Riley doesn’t jump at all when people come over, is a great walker, and has been able to stay calm when our house is chaotic. Highly recommend!
Jimmy is great! We did puppy training and three week training courses with our two mini bernedoodles and the change we saw was incredible! Every walk we go on we get stopped to be complemented on how great their behavior is. From on leash to off leash, their behavior is great. After training Jimmy has been a great resource for any questions we have.
