FirstBarkVera is a wonderful trainer for obedience at all levels, as well as addressing specific behavioral needs. She is patient and positive, very experienced, and the classes are a fun way to help your dog become a well-mannered family member! Highly recommend!

We love Vera’s approach to dog training. We brought our golden retriever puppy to Vera’s puppy class at the Wellesley Rec Department, and we followed up with Vera’s dog obedience class. Vera was a life saver in helping us navigate the behavior development of our puppy, and she made a point during each class to check in with everyone to see what was going well and what we were struggling with. Her training techniques felt very natural to incorporate in our daily lives, and we’re very happy with how our puppy has developed over the last 6 months. Thank you Vera!
My husband and I went to Vera for help training our 9 month old puppy to have better obedience such as recall, stay, etc. Our dog is already showing improvement and we get a lot of compliments on how well behaved he is! We brought home our Siberian husky as a puppy and Vera has helped us navigate raising her through puppy socialization classes, outdoor group walking classes, and canine good citizenship classes. Vera went above and beyond to ensure we had the skill set to ensure the safety of our dog when we were participating in our mountaineering hobbies.
Vera is great! We signed up for a few private lessons shortly after bringing home our 8 week old golden retriever, and continued training in a group puppy class for some time.
