The Composed Canine Dog Training

Five stars for The Composed Canine. Meg was amazing to work with for both us and our puppy! Prior to coming to training with Meg our puppy was biting anything and everyone she could. Our puppy didn’t know how to relax and was not able to control herself in public. After working with Meg, we can take our puppy on walks, go to off leash parks, have meals on patios and we are not destroying household items. I could not recommend Meg more! Meg is punctual, friendly, caring, and loves every dog like her own!

Meg was amazing with my 5 year old maltipoo! When we started, he was extremely reactive and couldn’t leave the front door without pulling the leash and barking. After the 4 week Board and train, we’re able to go into public dog friendly places, he walks nicely on the leash, and we even flew across the country! I’m so grateful to have a shared language with my pup so that he doesn’t have to go through life anxious and reactive!

We contacted Meg regarding our newly-adopted dog. She was very sweet, but it was difficult to walk her as she pulled, and lunged at other animals. Additionally, she was marking in the house, barked and whined for attention, and was generally anxious. Meg presented a solid plan for training and gave expert guidance training us as the owners in how to properly relate to, and lead our dog. Our dog is now peaceful and obedient, and she's such a joy to be around. Thank you, Meg, for your skill and help in training us and our dog!

Meg is a fantastic trainer! My goldendoodle pup used to be bonkers on a leash. We tried group classes, a different trainer, and finally we found Meg. She is fantastic about listening to what I wanted (loose leash walking) and making that the priority while also including work on other skills (off leash walking - who knew this was even in the cards for me and my crazy dog!) She is all about being fair to the dog and making sure we meet their needs, and I really appreciate this approach. Training has made a huge difference in the lifestyle I can have with my dog!
