The Complete K9 - Birmingham, Alabama

I have a 9mo Australian Cattle Dog (Wilfred) who is FULL of energy, like most blue heelers, and I finally needed help in several areas. I walk daily as my release, but he was pulling on the leash to the point that I no longer enjoyed walking him. He also jumped on people, which had become more than unacceptable since he's 50 pounds and my parents are both over 70. He is full of love, but just too much of it, at times. So I put out a message on Facebook about dog training recommendations, and friend recommended OLK9 Birmingham. I looked into it, and was hesitant bc of the price and bc I had not been away from Wilfred since he was 6wo. And how would I trust a stranger taking him for two weeks?!? I finally decided to go for it, and I could not have made a better choice. When Bianca showed up to pick him up, he jumped all over her. Validated my decision right there. Two weeks later, I have a new dog. I was worried that the training would take the "Wilfred" out of Wilfred, but it did quite the opposite. He is now more confident and more balanced. His leash work is amazing, but he's even better off leash. I said I would never have him off leash in my neighborhood bc people drive too fast, but I have found myself taking him off leash on the less busier parts of the subdivision and his heel is near perfect. He now drops his toys on command when playing fetch, and OFF will stop him from jumping, chewing, barking... you name it! I was also worried about the e-collar, but it is nothing like the "shock" collars of the past. I literally can't feel it until it is in the 20s. At 65 it made my finger slightly twitch. It goes to 100. Most of the time, I have it on 4. You literally can't feel anything at 4, but he can. It's amazing! Bianca kept me updated with daily photos/videos/updates, and called several times to check in. I never worried about him once. Her videos were amazing, and I was worried he wouldn't follow my commands like he did for her, but she did a great job of training me, and Wilfred and I continue to work at it every day. I know the price looks steep, but it has been worth every penny so far. If you can't do or don't need the 2-week board and train, I would still recommend the 1 week or classes. These people know what they're doing. I can't say enough about how great of a job Bianca did working with Wilfred. I am indebted to her for how she has changed our lives. Thank you!!!
