The Complete Canine

We could not have had a better experience at Complete Canine! We worked with Kari and her knowledge is extensive and passion for animals unmatched; we have complete trust in her and her assistant, Sydney (who also did a fantastic job). We brought two dogs for beginner training and our newer buddy was overwhelmed in class with all the other dogs, so Kari promptly worked with us to accommodate our dog's needs and guarantee we got results from the class series. It worked beautifully! The facility was also definitely the cleanest dog training place I've been, too. Clean surfaces and smelled great. We can't wait to come back :)

I’ve worked with multiple trainers here for various courses with my dog. This community of trainers and trainees has been wonderful, authentic and effective. Their prices are excellent and they teach you techniques that work and it has opened my mind to new information regarding my dog’s psychology. Feels like a family and a positive atmosphere- willing to work with all types of dogs at their level in healthy ways that encourage growth. I’ve been a dog owner for decades and it has been wonderful knowing my pups better and how to properly train them. Not all disabilities are visible!!!! Highly recommend their service program

We had a great experience with Jen (and Kari) in a beginner's class. Jen was incredibly patient with our dog, and especially with us hapless humans, giving us confidence to be trainers and general helpful information. Just watching how she herself interacts with dogs is a huge education... Weekly small dog play sessions sessions, together with the classes, have had real-world results in terms of socializing our dog. We can now walk on the street without her barking at other dogs. True quality of life :) Thanks, Jen!

Pros: Several days, times and trainers to choose from. Easy to sign up and pay. Trainer was knowledgeable and I appreciated the “More You Know” talks at the end of the sessions about dog behavior, products that are worth purchasing, summer safety, etc. The homework worksheets were helpful. Cons: Warehouse style building - summer time was a bit brutal as AC could not keep up. I did not feel particularly helped in the group class, I am pretty sure the trainer forgot my dogs name and they favored certain dogs. There were up to 3 trainers in the room (main person and 2 I believe learning to become trainers) but no one really came up to help make sure you were doing training correctly or check on how you and the dog were doing. I did not show up for the last 2 sessions and did not get an email or call to check in. Not a “waste” of money but the group setting here was not for us.
