Justyne, I am sorry that you are unhappy with our services. You had a private lesson scheduled and did not show up, nor did you communicate to tell us you could not come. The trainer was waiting for you. The time was reserved for you, so unavailable to other clients. Our policy is clearly documented on our website (https://morefunthandirt.com/cancellation-policy/) and in appointment confirmation emails. We collect credit card information at the time of booking to hold the appointment and we charge your credit card 24 hours prior to the appointment. As I explained to you on the phone, in the event of a no-show, we refund half the cost of the missed appointment to your account to be used for a future appointment. However, our office failed to collect that credit card at the time of booking and to charge 24 hours ahead. So in the end, you will get away with being disrespectful of our time, and yet you still posted a vague one star review that helps no one. What we care most about are the dogs. I am truly sorry that the outcome for your dog is grim. We do make accommodations for emergencies. A phone call or email prior to your appointment time is all it would have taken to alert us to your situation. I understand that you have another dog, and should you wish to pursue training, our door is open to you. I wish you well.

Hello "Texas" or Ben, Some clarification: Recess is not a training program. It is our answer to Doggy Daycare where your dog is handled 1:1 by a professionally trained handler for structured trail walks, appropriate play time, and splash time if they like, so they are practicing good skills in a safe environment. That is how it is advertised/communicated and is open to all comers. If you used recess, then recess is what you got. If you wanted another service, then you would have needed to participate in a different line of service with us. Dog Training is our bailiwick, and is our main line of business. We offer recess program to give people a safe outlet for their dogs, and hopefully a path into training with their dogs. We are a training facility with many lines of training staffed by certified and nationally recognized experts and are the choice of most veterinarians and other Trainers when they are stumped. While I am not sure exactly who this is since you cast aspersions from an anonymity, we do take exception to being called liars. We hold ourselves to exceptionally high ethics, and have resisted following the trends in the industry for the sake of making a buck. Everything that we do is for the success and safety of our clients’ dogs. We have delivered what was purchased, and if you wanted training, then you should have signed up for training.
