The Beauty of Dogs

My puppy & I learned so much from the 6 week puppy course. When we started, he struggled walking on a leash, coming when called and spending time alone in his crate. I left with the confidence and knowledge to safely train my puppy and we both have grown so much. I also signed up for a 1:1 lesson when I noticed some food/treat aggression. My puppy has not growled or been aggressive since this lesson as I learned ways I can interact with him while he is eating to make him feel comfortable. I reached out to The Beauty of Dogs after I rescued a young 2 year old female Rottweiler that was at a kill shelter because of her severe allergies. I had two other Rottweilers; one 10 1/2 year old dominant female and a 4 1/2 year old rescued that had been beaten. My issues were between the females. A very strong Alpha older female with a young Alpha female that needed to learn where her position was in the pack. It became an increasing serious situation with the older female instigating unmanageable fights that would escalate. I was considering sending back the rescue because it wasn't fair for either dog. I called The Beauty of Dogs and spoke with Rebecca. She came out to my house and worked with me over a six month period with the behaviors of the entire pack. I learned new techniques that helped me with my current situation since I considered myself experienced handler with over thirty years of owning multiple Rottweilers. Rebecca had the patience and the persistence to work with me and my pack to create a more cohesive environment for my dogs to interact in harmony.
