The Beauty of Dogs

Ellie just completed her Perfect Puppy Starter Kit and I am so pleased with the outcome. This is my fifth puppy over many years and the first one that I’ve taken to work with Rebecca at The Beauty of Dogs. I immediately saw a difference after just one class. And after completing the starter program, I wish I had done this with my other dogs. Ellie is so well-adjusted and calm. The classes exposed her to stimuli and socialization in a way that helped her to be ready to take on the world. If you are thinking about working with Rebecca, I urge you to dive right in. You won’t be disappointed.

My Australian shepherd puppy and I are so happy to have found the Beauty of Dogs. I adopted Luna from a rescue when she was about 10 weeks old and she is my very first puppy that I can call my own. I knew when I adopted her that I wanted to get her enrolled into some puppy classes so I could properly socialize her and I could learn how to communicate with her since she is deaf. When she was about 15 weeks old I found the Beauty of Dogs by doing an online search and from my first call with Rebecca I knew this was the perfect fit for us. I really like how Rebecca tailors the classes to your needs and she'll follow up in an e-mail with details from what we went over along with articles or videos that might help further explain the training we were working on. We even used one of the classes to work on improving the relationship between Luna and my sister's dog which was extremely helpful. I also really like the socialization classes because there's only a few dogs in the class at a time which makes it easier to see how the dogs are interacting with each other. We may have completed the first 6 months puppy program, but we plan to continue working with Rebecca by attending additional socialization classes and I will definitely be using her as a resource as Luna continues to grow into a beautiful dog. If you're looking for a trainer in the Bethlehem area, I can't recommend The Beauty of Dogs enough!!! I have a Golden puppy that I trained on my own for a few months and at a certain point he just regressed and out stubborned me when it came to training. Potty training and leash training were impossible for me to do on my own because it felt like my dog would just do sneaky things anyway and we weren't making any progress. My dog would always take a minimum of 30 mins to go potty but I'd always have to keep taking him out, bring him in, take him back out and I didn't have the time to keep doing it. Within the first two weeks of working with Rebecca, she showed me how to communicate with the leash and Bodhie slowly started progressing with walking and potty training went a lot faster. She also provides more than just training. If you have a concern with your dog, she'll provide some pup psychology for the training and will provide some holistic insight into why they may doing something (for example eating dirt). She is extremely knowledgeable and she will care about YOUR dog. It's been a great experience!

We highly recommend The Beauty of Dogs for all of your puppy or dog training needs. Miss Rebecca was very, very knowledgeable. We were super impressed with her knowledge and her teaching methods to which our pup Marvin responded very well. We opted to do both a one on one training session once a week and in addition to that, one weekly socialization class as well. The socialization classes we attended helped Marvin to learn how to properly interact, or not interact with the other dogs in class. During these sessions we all learned from Miss Rebecca that socialization for dogs is not only teaching them how to "play" but also teaching them when not to "play." Guiding a puppy/dog to know both of those things was very necessary to properly socialize our fur babies, which allowed for enjoyable play during all of the sessions and Miss Rebecca directed them magnificently! All of the things that Marvin and my husband and I have learned have most definitely helped to make the puppy stage lots easier to navigate through so far. It has been so enjoyable to work with Miss Rebecca and to watch Marvin begin to grow into a well behaved toddler :) Our experience here is a 10 out of 10! It was really great to see all of the dogs in the classes who have also had the great experience of having Miss Rebecca as their trainer to show them how to be the best doggies that they can be! I can't say enough great things about Miss Rebecca and The Beauty of Dogs. We will be back for more sessions!
