What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. I went there not knowing what to expect but Nick took his time out to explain it all and on top it all he demonstrated it by showing me step by step the process and progress my dog had learned I am so grateful and satisfied with the work he put into my dog
My Golden Retriever has been at the Academy for 2 weeks and I pick him up in 2 days. I have received a video every day of his training and we have been amazed at his progress. The communication from our trainer has been top notch.

Can’t say enough good things about Byran and his team. I have 2 male Boston terriers ages 2 and 5 years. When the youngest turned 2 fights started erupting between the two. I was at the point that I was ready to rehome or even to euthanize the younger dog. The younger was the aggressor. Then I found Bryan and The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training. His knowledge of dog behavior plus his pharmacological background showed us that our dog’s behavior could be modified for the better. Things have improved immensely in our home. Our younger dog is calmer and we are gradually getting to where we are more comfortable about letting our dogs be together. We are on our way to them being able to be together. I did not think this could be accomplished but now I know it can be a reality. Both dogs went through the training as well as my husband and I getting valuable instructions. Plus I felt comfortable leaving my dogs with Bryan. Their boarding and training facilities are impeccable. Thank you Bryan for saving our youngest and teaching our older dog new tricks. Also thanks for always being available for texts and phone calls.
