What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. Our trained staff ensures a safe, supervised environment so young dogs build confidence and good habits from the start. If you’re unsure whether your puppy is ready, we’re happy to help you decide.

Their facility is fantastic and they offer several other perks with the training. Our Kaiser loved the walks around the park.
Absolutely best decision we could have made for our boy. This is not surface-level training. Bryan brings his extensive knowledge and expertise of canine behavior to his training, and it shows. Our dog is happier, more confident, and of course well-trained now thanks to Bryan and his staff! We’ll also be back for boarding soon!

As a first-time dog owner, I could not be happier with the results from The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training. My 5-month-old labradoodle/goldendoodle completed basic training, and the transformation has been incredible. Bryan and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I received daily updates with videos (except Sundays), which kept me informed and reassured. My pup came home confident, calm, and well-behaved—and I was trained too. The team gave me the tools and insight I needed to walk her peacefully, manage her behavior, and keep her safe. My favorite command, “place” combined with the place cot have been game-changers for creating structure at home. I highly recommend this program for both dogs and their owners. It’s more than training—it’s a foundation for a great relationship.
