We train all kinds of dogs - big, small and in between, all ages and all levels of obedience. We do not stereotype breeds, nor do we have a cookie cutter one-size-fits-all approach to training your dog. We believe each dog is an individual and should be treated as such. Whether your goal is to take your untrained dog from chaos to control or your want to achieve rock solid off leash control of your dog in real world situations, our training programs can take you there. We offer private lessons as well as board and train options.

Kim and her team did an exceptional job training our 11month old German Shepherd, Kaiser. Their attention to detail and love for the dogs showed great results.
The love and care that we have for our dogs are met and exceeded by K9 University. Our dogs require daily medications and we feel more than comfortable that the staff at K9 stay on top of their need. We know we can count on them for top notch care. You can see how excited Axel was in the photo when we told him he was headed to K9 for a relaxing dog retreat.
Kim and her staff at k9 university have far exceeded our expectations. We have boarded many times with them and always rest easy knowing they are in good hands. They are very professional and will continue using them when the need arises. One of our dogs has very high standards as evident by his smug appearance shown. Even he approves of K9 university.

If you’re looking for a dog trainer, look no further! Kim changed our lives! Everyone I’ve referred has said the same. The results are magical. We did puppy day camp which included 1-on-1 sessions for us humans to learn how to handle our pup and reinforce her training. The foundation Kim builds in just a few weeks lasts a lifetime. We still visit a few times a year for boarding. Texas K9 University is my dog’s favorite place on earth and I’m pretty sure Kim and her husband are her favorite people.
