It started with an emergency heart bypass surgery and a puppy that I had been doing my best with, a happy and overly energetic 50 lb 8 month old, and smarter than me on most days, training was a challenge when I was at my best. The puppy jumped on my wife and knocked her over when I cam home from surgery. I found Texas Canine Training that day and Abigail came to the rescue! 6 weeks later we received a completely different dog! Our Rosie is calm, obedient, and happy, we are happy, we can take her anywhere with pride! And let me add that Abigail and James are really fine people, I recommend them highly! We sent our pup, Charlie, through the advanced board and train with Abigail to focus on addressing his aggression toward other dogs and fear of strangers. In a few short weeks, it feels like we have a different dog! Abigail successfully and positively trained Charlie to respond to e-collar - giving us and him the freedom to live leash free without concern. Along with the training provided through the board and train, Abigail has been an amazing and available resource for answering questions, helping guide us on our training path, and helping us better understand why Charlie reacts the way he sometimes does. Absolutely wonderful! Abigail trained my daughter’s German Shepherd in both obedience and service dog work. She transformed her from a reactive, skittish puppy who struggled around other animals and thought she was in charge, into a calm, confident, and obedient dog. Today, she can handle challenging environments, including being stalked by the big cats at the zoo, with impressive composure. She reliably sits, lays down, stays, heels, and tucks on command, and is now learning anxiety alert tasks. We are incredibly proud of how far she has come in such a short time. Abigail is a fantastic trainer and teacher. She is patient with both the dog and my daughter, and she makes sure we get plenty of real-world training experience in a variety of environments, not just basic obedience sessions. Her focus on practical exposure has made all the difference. Thanks to Abigail’s dedication and expertise, my daughter will have an additional layer of support and independence when she leaves for college. That means more to our family than I can express. I cannot recommend Abigail highly enough!

We hired Abigail to train our new puppy, a miniature schnauzer. She was incredible from Day 1. I purchased a group of 6 private lessons, perfectly designed for our puppy to teach him door manners, commands, leash training, and obedience. Her experience and natural ability to connect with our puppy and with me fostered an environment of success and positive learning. She helped us problem solve too: how should the puppy behave around children and what to do when the puppy wants to bite? I cannot say enough about Abigail’s professionalism and knowledge! I plan on using her again in the future for off-leash trading as well. I would highly recommend her! She’s worth every penny!

Several months ago I started having horrible aggression issues my 9 year old husky and 4 year old Aussie. The two would get in intense fight causing harm to each other. My husband and I were at a loss of what to do and was considering putting on down. Due to them not being able to be in the same room without trying to attack. A friend recommended this amazing training facility. I couldn’t be more pleased and thrilled with the results they did for my puppies. It’s night and day difference, my family would not be complete right now if it wasn’t for Abigale and her husband. She reunited my family and gave us tips to keep the training up and everyone staying safe. I highly highly highly recommend using them for ALLLLLLL training needs. The price is worth everything that she does. Your dogs will be all the more better for it. I’d drive across country for her help if I had to.
