Teacher Turned Trainer

Taryn did terrific work with my corgi puppy. I was shocked by how quickly my dog would start performing tasks like sitting and staying. It has made dog ownership much more enjoyable to have an obedient dog. I also like how available Taryn is for questions outside of our sessions. Now that I have the basic tools I will continue to work with my dog, and I plan to re connect with Taryn in the future to teach him some more tricks for fun or some agility training. I would highly recommend that anybody with a puppy reach out to get advice for building a good foundation of obedience.

We purchased the Honor Roll package to have Taryn help with our new rescue dog’s (Diego) reactivity to other dogs, and we are SO grateful we found her! She was always prompt, was immediately loved by Diego, was very patient and sweet with our other dog who joined most of Diego’s lessons, and taught us effective strategies to help distract Diego and keep him more focused on us than on other dogs. She even brought her dogs to some of his lessons to help us practice the techniques (and provided reassurance that Diego just really wants to play!). She was so wonderful, and we will 1000% use her again if we need future dog training!

Taryn is amazing and we would highly recommend her! We got our puppy, Maggie, at 7 months old and she had never been socialized or had any basic training. She had a lot of anxiety and a definite fear of new things. Since we started, she has improved tremendously! She knows all the basic commands and has gotten over her fear of riding in the car. She taught us great ways to deal with visitors to our house as well as effective walking ideas. Taryn is so patient and has the best ideas on how to tackle certain issues. She definitely knows her stuff!! She is very easy to work with and our dog loves her. If your dog needs any type of training, she is the best!!
