I truly don’t have enough words to express how thankful I am for finding Taylor Made Working Dogs to train my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Crouton. From the very first moment I reached out, I felt like Crouton was in the best hands possible. Every step of the way, they kept me updated with how she was progressing, what she was learning, and gave me genuine, honest feedback. They didn’t just train her—they genuinely cared for her, loving her like she was their own. What really stood out to me was their patience and dedication. Crouton needed extra time to learn to trust new people, and they allowed her to stay a few more weeks, working with her at her own pace, without charging me for the additional time. That kind of kindness and care is rare. When I came to pick her up, they walked me through all of her new commands and made sure I felt confident, reassuring me that I could reach out to them anytime in the future, no matter how far down the road. That kind of support means the world to me. If anyone is worried about the cost, let me say this: every single penny was worth it. Crouton is a completely transformed dog, but in the best way possible. She’s confident, well-trained, and so much happier. My heart is so full seeing her thrive, and I couldn’t be prouder of the progress she’s made. We were very pleased with Taylor Made Working Dogs. Our trainer, Richie, was simply outstanding. He trained our German Shepherd, Stella, during a board and train for 6 weeks. More importantly, he helped train us in her handling and habits and how to recognize the signals she was giving off. Richie's knowledge of the psychological aspects of dogs was immensely helpful. He made it easy to understand and follow through with. We wholeheartedly recommend Richie and Taylor Made to others.

I highly recommend "Taylor Made Working Dogs" training. They are extremely knowledgeable and really know AND love dogs. My dog Kira can into training pulling on the leash and not following commands. She was there for 4 weeks in training with Ritchie. She came out with more discipline and able to better regulate her puppy energy. Ritchie is a teacher, he is professional, patient, and makes himself available for any concerns you may have along the way. Akena is also amazing and is a great asset to this team. I will continue to train with them because I trust them and they know their stuff!!

I can’t say enough great things about Taylor Made Working Dogs and our trainer, Richie. Our Boxer Rottweiler Mix is pretty reactive and we were having trouble managing his behavior. We did private trainings and our dog is now much more confident and we can take him out in public (which was a nightmare before). Richie was fantastic. He helped us understand why our dog was behaving certain ways and taught us how to handle situations. There were no stupid questions, pricing was very reasonable, and we were able to customize the training to what we needed. It’s clear the trainers know their stuff, legitimately want to help, and care for each dog that comes their way.
