Task Dog Training

If there was a 0 star I’d leave that , 1 isn’t good enough , I feel my experience with Lauren was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever encountered she basically charged me double I paid 5000 , no other customer has paid anywhere near this , strictly because she thought I had money I’m appalled by this , I’ve seen the messages stating this and I’m sick to my stomach that people Out there exist that do this and take advantage of people, there was also comments from the woman who lived there , that stated the dogs sit in crates for 12 plus hrs a day , and she barely works with them,also picture and video evidence of her screaming and yelling at them at all hours of the night she taught him a one thing that’s it , the overall experience was terrible , she’s beyond unprofessional, she was cursing at me and speaking to me, in an extremely inappropriate and unprofessional manner for the amount of money I paid,I have screen shots to prove All of this , I felt so disrespected and disgusted to find that I spent that much money for my dog to sit in a crate and the behavior he went there with , comes immediately back if no e collar is on him , this trainer is a scam , she doesn’t teach your dog anything but utilized the e collar , extremely dirty conditions , my dog came back over weight , clearly From sitting in a crate and instantly lost it once I started running him again , I don’t live with many regrets but this is a huge regret of mine and a total rip Off I’ll also be reporting her to the better business bureau. She also blocked me when i contested these things to her, and became very mentally unstable telling me to never contact her again and she’ll be blocking my number and voiding my contract during these conversations , Very unprofessional person to work with . Big scam be aware , I’ve spoken to other dog trainers who have heard of her and basically said the same thing , she cannot train a dog without an e collar was the stated words . So the proof is there . Thank you for charging me double then any customer . Will never recommend her to anyone .Scam to the fullest , she will block your number as soon as you bring something up your unhappy about , there’s no team it’s just one person .

I can’t say enough good things about working with Task. Lauren is a very knowledgeable and talented trainer. She was able to not only help me to train my dogs but she also inspired my own love for dog training! Through the years that I have known and worked with Lauren she has helped me gain so much knowledge and understanding of dogs and how to work with my dogs to make them the best pups possible! She helped me train my (now retired) service dog too! Thanks to Lauren I was able to have the assistance of my awesome dog to help mitigate my disability! I could never thank her enough. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable and easy to work with!

1 star is too much! Please, I implore anyone who needs their dog properly trained, do not waste your money with Lauren and TASK training! My dog went to TASK and already knew how to sit, stay, spin, lay down and give a paw. I needed help with excited peeing and jumping on people. Initially my dog was supposed to stay for 2 weeks, but after 2 weeks Lauren said she could use more time. I foolishly agreed to 2 more weeks. Biggest mistake ever. When I picked my dog up, Lauren suggested I meet her at Lowe’s to see his progress with excited peeing and jumping. He literally peed on a little boy and jumped on anyone who walked by! It was awful! He also had a horrible rash on his belly and scabbing around his mouth. That required a vet visit and my poor dog needed to be put on steroids and antibiotics to help clear up whatever he got from laying around filthy dirty for the duration of his stay! Lauren does not publish her pricing, but I know for a fact that she charged 1 customer $5000 for a 1 month stay. She charged me $2600. It’s my understanding she has charged people as low as $1800 for a one month stay. I feel training with TASK and Lauren was basically a very expensive boarding experience and not a training program. I also feel that Lauren misrepresented what she could accomplish in a 28 day period with my dog. If I could save other dog owners from making the same mistake I made putting my hard earned money and faith in someone who clearly has no business “training” dogs, I would feel my $2600 was not a waste!
