Tara's Pawsitive Dog Training, LLC

Tara at Tara's Positive Dog Training is an excellent trainer! We had a well trained dog, except that he barked incessantly when people would come into our house. We had 10 sessions total with Tara, and our dog is much quieter and we now know how to control and train him. Tara's approach is based entirely on positive reinforcement and I believe that is why it works. She definitely has a special connection to dogs probably from growing up with dog trainers. Tara is pleasant and reliable and provides a great service for a fair price. We enjoyed spending time with her and our dog, who is over the moon for her. Previously we sent our dog for three weeks of training with Rescue Gang Milwaukee, which used a shock collar. Although that approach taught some commands, it caused so much stress that our dog is always a bit skittish now. I will never again train a dog with a shock collar or any other punitive method. Use Tara's Positive Dog Training if you want a joyful, well behaved pooch.

We LOVE Tara's Pawsitive Dog Training! Tara is kind, patient & so incredibly knowledgeable- you can tell she loves what she does! At our first meeting, we spoke extensively regarding our goals for Sylvie. We hit the ground running & haven't looked back! In just shy of two months, Sylvie is able to follow basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.), has some some fun tricks "up her paws" & has been on two "field trips" where she has been able meet people & get comfortable with greeting new friends! We are so thankful to Tara & will be customers for life!

Tara has been helping us train our very energetic and spunky bernedoodle mix. She is so patient and knowledgeable, she has taught us so much about how to properly train our dog! She listens to what is important to us and what goals we have for training. Our dog and our kids adore her (she involves them in training as well, which has been amazing!). We say she is magic because she can get our dog to listen so well, we recommend her to everyone!
