Tame Dog Training & Boarding

I brought my service dog in training Breelynn, to Matt at 8 months old with a lot of puppy behaviors. A month later I was able to take her in public with trust that she would walk beside me calmly, sit under a table in restaurants without any misbehaving, and has set her to eagerly follow commands! We have even continued to build off of the solid foundation that Tame Dog Training has provided and Breelynn is now walking in public sometimes without a leash and has learned to carry things for me all before even 1 year old. I couldn’t give a better recommendation for a wonderful dog trainer!!!

I would recommend Tame Dog to everyone! My husband and I sent our dog Romeo to Tame Dog a few months ago and couldn’t be more happier with the results. Matt is amazing! We explained to him that we have a baby under a year old and our expectations for our dog. Romeo is still considered a pup, but his breed is very hyperactive and it was concerning with our child around. Matt let us know that he would do everything he can to help. Our dog was so wild at times, we couldn’t even put the leash on him for walks. We knew Matt had his work cut out for him. But We were so excited to see the outcome. Romeo was only there a week before we had our first private session and it was like day and night with him. We were very impressed. Matt has been so great every step of the way. He continues to check in and work with us and Romeo till this day. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! Better experience than I could have ever imagined. 10 Stars!

The Dockery Family is truly thankful for Tame Dog Training! We loved our family dog but he was uncontrollable. It was difficult for us to have people over due to him jumping on people. We couldn’t walk him because he pulled us all over the neighborhood. After spending two weeks with Matt our Ace came back a totally different dog. We take him everywhere with us now becaus he is so well mannered. Ace is truly part of our family now and we are so grateful for the great dog training he received from Matt!

Where can I start? My fiance and I have two Boxers (Bella and Lexi). They are very emotional and loving dogs. They used to be so unruly, loved to jump on people, and would play too rough with other dogs. It was very difficult to communicate with either of them. Bella was our first so she had a "first child complex." If anyone would pet Lexi first, Bella would immediately bark out of jealousy. These little rascals thought that everyone in the world wanted to play with them! We moved from San Diego to Dallas, and decided it was time to take them to a professional. After careful reviews and multiple interviews we've decided to go with Tame Dog Training by Matt Ganim. They were with him for two weeks. They came home such well behaved girls. What I like about Matt is that he doesn't just train your dogs, he will also train you. We as humans don't understand proper communication between us and our dogs. This is where Matt comes in. This trainer will teach you how to communicate with your dog. He will make sure that your pet will understand exactly what you are asking them to do. THE BIGGEST REASON WHY I AM SO PLEASED WITH TAME DOG TRAINING: MATT WILL NOT SELL YOU A FISH, HE WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO FISH! In this program there will be included sessions of Owner/Pet communication guided by Matt. As he teaches you how to communicate he will also explain how to enforce any new habits or behaviors that you want your pet to know. Essentially, you become your pet's trainer. We moved back to San Diego, and I've gotten to the point where now my babies walk with me OFF LEASH in heavily populated areas with traffic, other animals, and many other distractions. They KNOW that a road is a KILL ZONE and will never step a foot unless I tell them to cross the road with me. They also know that they can't associate with other animals or humans unless I give them an OK to do so. Enough said, Matt will produce results that he promises and even more.
