Do they work with rescue dogs that have a difficult adjusting to strangers and meeting new animals
Yes, they have a class called cool calm and collected that deals with reactivity in dogs. You can also work directly with a behaviorist if you'd rather do a Private lesson. They are wonderful at Tails.

Tails-u-win is my go to place for any type of dog training or dog sport. They’re simply the best! From group classes, to day school, to private lessons, they offer so much! They have basic training classes but also classes like canine conditioning and more. I have 2 dogs and both use tails! Both have taken great expectations puppy academy and day school. Both of my dogs have also gone through family dog 1&2. My oldest dog does scent work and agility there. My younger dog just started scent work and is on waitlist for agility. We also took an online class for focus/impulse control. The staff and trainers are amazing. They helped me work through my one dog reactivity after he was attacked by an off leash dog on a neighborhood walk. He can now be around other dogs and participate in dog sports. The facility is huge and so much to offer. They also have an agility field you can rent as a member and their store has so many good treats and toys! We highly recommend to anyone looking to train their dog or get their dog into dog sports. It’s helped me and my pups out so much!

I’ve been to numerous classes over many years and I have always had great experiences. I especially want to compliment Sharon and her conformation handling class. Sharon is so helpful, knowledgeable, and gracious.

Went here for classes for both of my young dogs. As anything, the trainer ypu get will impact your experience. Some better than others. Overall, really nice people
