I had my first 1-on-1 session with Daniel for my car-reactive dog, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He explained everything so clearly and made sure I understood not just what to do, but why we were doing it. You can tell he genuinely cares about dogs and is passionate about helping them (and their owners!) succeed. My dog responded so well during the session, and I left feeling confident with what to practice. I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with him!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed taking my dog here. If you have a dog that is in any way excitable, high energy, or a working breed this is unlikely to be a good fit. I think having some sort of consult prior to signing up for a class to see where the dog fits in would be a great thing, but unfortunately that probably doesn’t make money for them. You need to figure out 50-60 percent of the way through the class that it isn’t a good fit and then see if they are willing to let you transfer which in our case didn’t work out. You are essentially put behind a sheet to do the entire lesson without any integration back into the class. This isn’t helpful for a dog that needs to learn obedience with other dogs around. The private lessons are astronomically expensive and I was told most people need to do about 10 private lessons to make it stick. This would cost almost 3,000! We found a much better fit elsewhere that still is expensive but the communication, professionalism and understanding about all different dog breeds and their energy level is bar none. I would not recommend this company to anyone that has a working breed, high energy, playful, or has a dog that gets easily distracted.
