Tails of Excitement helped us immensely in training our “Corona dog.” We brought her home in 2020 as a pup, which meant she didn’t get much socializing during those important first months of life. Brittany saw us out for a walk and saw right away that we needed help. She went right into trainer mode and was so calm and patient and taught us our first lesson…let the dog come to you! Our Willow very quickly warmed up to her and we were sold on hiring her to help us further! One of the biggest lessons I learned while working with Brittany, is it’s the people that often need the “training.” Dogs feed off of our energy and respond to our behavior. I would recommend Tails of Excitement to anyone…Brittany is extremely knowledgeable and has a true passion for helping dogs and their owners.

The absolute best boarding of my pets I have ever had. They stay in the home with the family. They are not just walked and put back in a kennel. I had one dog that likes to be left alone and went into kennel for privacy but could leave and join family and other animals at any time. I have another that likes to be out where the action is at all times and play and run with other animals. One of my dogs was a papillon and the other a German Shepherd/ Husky. Both dogs were happy and full of energy when I got them back. In the past they come home and it took awhile to reacclimate them to being out of kennels because that is not their normal living conditions. They got taken outside daily and played with. I received videos and pics of my dogs just about every day. It really took the stress off being gone 10 days without my pets. I rate this business as high as possible.

Our 3 year old Australian Shepherd was attacked by another dog when he was a puppy and since then has been having issues with being around other dogs. His fear towards other dogs became so severe that he was unable to even see a dog in the distance without physically freaking out. We reached out to Brittany in hopes we could find ways to make him feel more comfortable around other dogs. She was able to confirm that it was fear causing his reactions and helped us find different techniques to use to safely expose him to more dogs. Although he is still not completely fond of being around other dogs, he has become noticeably more comfortable with them being in the same area with him. Brittany was also able to help us address other behavioral concerns we had such as his reaction to cars driving by and how he pulled when on walks. Our dog has come so far and we can’t thank Brittany enough for her help and guidance! I would 100% recommend Tails of Excitment to anyone looking for help with their fury friend!
