They have a Canine Good Citizen's class, and CGC is the most common requirement for therapy dog work in Whatcom County. So, yes!
Although they do not offer a herding specific class, they do teach Wag It! Games which incorporated Treibball, a herding specific sport.

Tails does not offer herding classes. The best way to get started in herding would be to visit a local herding trial and observe the handlers, see whose style looks like something you might enjoy learning and then asking them if they are a trainer themselves or if they can recommend one. You will see many different styles in use in herding, make sure you look for a trainer that you feel comfortable with. Ask if you can observe a lesson or two that they have with another client and make sure their style will work for you and your dog.
I take my dog for lessons once in awhile just for fun, our trainer teaches in Arlington.

The absolute best dogcare facility I have ever found (this includes many states). I have never liked the idea of sending my dog to daycare only for it to be caged. That never happens at Tails A Waggin. In addition, the dogs interact with other dogs in their size group. There are indoor wee pads for inclement weather, and they are taken outside for exercise and play. You can order additional add-ons. They are diligent about each dogs health. For me, they set the gold standard for how doggy daycare should actually be. I cannot recommend Tails A Waggin more highly.

My dog has been going to Tails for over 3 1/2 years now. He has a lot of quirks and the staff manage him beautifully. He loves going to school! We are so grateful for the love everyone at Tails shows our special boy.

Tails has been a great experience with both daycare and training classes. I never have to worry about my boy while he's there, and everyone has been very kind. They only use positive training methods too--which is excellent, as my pup has needed...a lot of help. 😅
