Ken and his team at Taggs have been instrumental in my life by teaching me how to be a better “Boss Doggy” for my dog Coco. Coco monster as Ken lovingly deems her is my spicy Jack Russell Terrier (aka terror 😊). I enrolled Coco in Taggs Canine Clarity Board & Train program for 21 days so he can work with her on her extreme reactivity, nervousness, aggression as well as provide her the structured routine that I lacked prior to this program. While Coco was in this program, I got regular updates on her progress from walks to working on reactivity in public areas as well as training on resource guarding. Coco is now back home under a pretty solid routine and she even loves her treadmill time which she gets 2-3 times a day. It will be continue to be a work in progress to maintain all of Ken’s teachings but it will be worth it in the end as my relationship with Coco has changed for the better. Ken taught me to be a more confident leader and how to use the training tools especially the leash as a communication tool to Coco. She’s still her spunky JRT self but I have a better handle on her through Ken’s guidance which has been vital! It’s really up to us as the doggy parents to put in the effort to be better owners by understanding our dog’s psychology, breed and not to project our human emotions onto them because that energy confuses them! I’ve learned a lot from this experience especially from Ken. You can see he truly cares about all animals and he really bonds with each dog he boards & trains. I highly recommend Ken and his team for your doggy training programs!

Ken and his team are genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. We took our rambunctious golden retriever puppy, Maple, to them for their puppy two week board & train program. They kept us up to date daily on Maple’s progress. They did in depth training with her to get her on a potty schedule. They desensitized her to all sorts of environments, people, and dogs. They worked on her reactivity to other dogs. They worked behavior with jumping on people as well as leash manners. They took her on adventure days to public places that allowed dogs. We received two follow up lessons with them. The first was on pick up to follow the rules and routines that they implemented. The second was to check in & view Maple’s transition back into our home with her new routines. It took some adjusting at home, but the overall improvement was noticeable immediately. Maple walks great on the leash, she listens to her commands (even though she’s spicy at times), and she is on a pretty decent schedule. Ken and his team give you a STRONG foundation. They give you all the support afterwards as well. They’re always answering our questions. With Ken’s foundation, the world is your limit. It’s about the work you continue to do now that your dog has these skills and bases to grow from. We deeply appreciate the care and respect Ken and his team show our pets. “To love is to lead,” Ken states & this has truly evolved our perspective and training with our pup. Thank you Taggs K9! We highly recommend them & we will continue to use them for lessons, boarding, and so much more.

We could not recommend Taggs more. They helped train our 90lb wild dog Rowdy into such a good boy. We did the 3 week boarding training and it was so worth it. We got updates and videos several times a week and came in mid-way for a visit and lesson (training the humans as I like to say LOL.) Ken and Simone were wonderful to work with and I look forward to coming back for follow-up lessons and visits!
