Tactical Treats and Training

I can’t recommend tactical treats and training enough. They helped transform my fearful pup in just 4 days, using the Doggy Day Camp service. I dropped him off at their facility for 4 days straight from 10 am to 3 pm, where they worked on issues I addressed I was having with Buddy. Before training, he would pull hard and lunge on the leash, want to bolt out of doors, and was scared of almost everything. They taught him how to heel perfectly at my side, to wait at doors until told it was okay to come through, and did confidence building activities, which made him realize life isn’t so scary after all! Upon pick up every day, they told me what he learned and how I can do it myself at home. I’ve continued after training, practicing with him, and holding him accountable for the things he learned like they suggested. He’s made amazing strides!! Thank you for your amazing work!

I was having issues with my 4 year old English Springer Spaniel, he had a huge lack in confidence, was scared of a lot and had bad separation anxiety, barking for hours in the crate while we would leave the home. He used to jump, bark, pull on the leash constantly, run out the door and just not listen in general. When he wanted something he barked until we gave in. I’ve done the one month board and train with them. After much research and seeing their reviews, we went for it and we made the plans to meet at their facility to drop off Rusty. They took Rusty home with them in NC to work on him in their home setting. We feel that we made the best choice ever and went with the best trainers he could have gotten! They kept in great contact with us. We felt comfortable in knowing how much they loved and cared for him as their own! They even spoke to me about making certain changes prior to sending him through the program. We now got our boy back and he’s better then ever and we are truly amazed by these people and the work they did !! Upon pick up, we did a group session with the rest of the dogs that were also being picked up to get proper knowledge of the training tools used and applied. It was made clear to keep up our dogs daily training, even if it just 5 minutes per day and to hold them accountable. Easy enough. Their hard work and dedication to helping Rusty and us form a better relationship is beyond worth the expense. Gianna also is very knowledgeable in dog nutrition and helped us make a big switch to feeding our pup to a healthy diet. He’s now loving his food and eating it as soon as I set the bowl down and give him the okay. He was a very picky boy! I couldn’t be any happier about the switch. I highly recommend Tactical Treats and Training. Gianna is equipped with so much knowledge and experience even with small pups like my own. My Papillon Shih Tzu is 9 years old and had major anxiety issues with other people and especially other dogs. For many years I have been guilty of spoiling her which as a result opened the door for some behavioral issues. After just a few sessions with Gianna I noticed so much improvement with my dog. My dog quickly picked up simple commands like heel and place. Her growling at others has decreased and now I feel more comfortable having her around other dogs because of the tips and training I learned from Gianna. She taught not only my dog but me as well how to navigate uncomfortable situations for my dog. Today we are still a work in progress but I feel that Gianna has given me the tools I need to continue guiding my dog toward an anxious free life. Thank you so much Tactical Treats and Training.

We sent our 10-week old puppy, mulligan, for the 2 week board and train program. Best decision ever! He was having a really hard time with crate training and we live in an apartment, so letting him bark it out was not a great option. He now hardly barks, loves his crate, and has learned better recall, heeling, and much much more! We got pictures and videos every day of his progress, and they did an incredible job emulating his home environment down in NC! It is clear they are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also care deeply about the well-being, safety, and happiness of your pup! 1000% recommend!

Working with Gianna has been the best decision I made for my dog, Bo. I have a 6 year old female German Shepard that needed help with general obedience and aggressive behavior. Not only has Bo’s behavior changed significantly, our family dog has become such a pleasant dog with my two young children.
