How young should I start training my puppy?
The earlier the better. As soon as your puppy has their first round of shots, we can start basic training, crate routines, and socialization. It sets the tone for everything else down the road, by having a strong foundation, you have more success and a happier lifestyle.

Can you help my dog walk better on leash?
Definitely. Leash manners are one of the most common issues I address. We teach calm walking, proper heel positioning, and how to stop the pulling without relying on gimmicks. Because lets be honest, it is frustrating being out in public and having to correct the dog when you just want to have a good time.

We have been going through training with our 3-year-old Lab mix, Halo, with Eric and Nicole at Tactical K9s...and I can promise you we'll never go back to another place for dog training again! We had previously done some obedience training prior to entering the program, but Eric at Tactical K9s brought obedience training to a whole new level. He built upon what Halo previously understood and gently branched out from there with new techniques that were tailored specifically to our needs and hers. It wasn't a one-size-fits-all approach, and they took the time to respect where we were and where we wanted to be. The owners are truly interested in each owner and dog's success. Their direction is intentional and firm, and that was the door to building trust and consistency with Halo. This isn't our first rodeo, and I can tell you I have never been more confident in the direction of the training journey. Tactical K9s offers a broad variety of packages at very competitive rates, and the quality is unbeatable. As we're expecting a new pup soon, we already know where we're going for training—Tactical K9s all the way! Strongly recommend to anyone serious about establishing a solid, long-term bond with their dog through training that really works. Every bit is worth the time and money you are going to put into training your dog.

We went in with our Husky Rottweiler puppy of 3 months since we were interested in puppy obedience training and we ended up moving forward with a 3 week basic obedience board and train. We felt very comfortable knowing our puppy was in good hands! Eric updated us on his training and would send us videos to update us on the progress our puppy "Julio" had made. When picking up Julio we were sooo pleased with how well behaved he was! I was previously struggling with leash walking since Julio would bite the leash and jump all around and now he walks so well and stays right by my side. We will definitely sign Julio up for group sessions once he gets a little bigger! Thank you so much to the Tactical K9 fam! 🤍
