Synergy Dog Training & Behavior Solutions

At 4 months my puppy Ellie was excessively timid and wary of anything novel in her environment, so I signed up for the Well Rounded Puppy Program to bolster my socialization efforts. Annie and Sarah coached me in how to best support her in developing confidence, and we had a lot of fun as she overcame challenges on obstacles and with "weird" moving/noisy toys. Annie and Sarah were great about answering my questions, and I had a LOT of questions! Ellie and I also enhanced our relationship with foundational obedience skills. She now meets the unknown with curiosity and resilience and I've no doubt she will lead a happier and more serene life because of the Well Rounded Puppy Program.

We love training here!! I brought Nova for puppy training and it was a fantastic experience. The puppy pay time helped her get socialized with other dogs and get all her energy out so she could focus in class. Even with a good sized group I felt like I could receive any 1:1 help I needed. Annie taught the majority of our class and gave helpful tips when I struggled (turns out hotdogs and cheese are the key to everything). I've worked and spoken with Sarah and few times and it has been equally wonderful! She is very responsive and gives incredible insight and advice. I can't recommend Synergy Dog enough!!!

After the basic obedience class, my dog Oberon is much more well behaved and mannerly. The training we both got (me more than him!) was easy to understand and implement. The training environment here is comfortable and relaxed with plenty of instructor interaction and feedback as needed. With a range of dogs and owner's abilities, the training was general enough to apply to all of us while specific behavioral challenges were addressed for each animal/owner pair. This was our first step in working toward getting certified to do animal therapy work and I couldn't be more pleased with all we learned. Highly recommended instruction no matter what you want to do with your dog!

Sarah has been fantastic! She has helped us find the right tools to help our scared, sensitive and at times aggressive dog. With Sarah's training our dog is on his way to conquering basic obedience which has helped him transform from a dog who would not let anyone into our house (or near me) into a dog that is learning to sit and be calm. The change in our dog is absolutely amazing and he is a completely different dog. We are grateful for the training Sarah has empowered us with, and above all else she has listened to us and helped us prioritize our goals with our dog in a way that is sustainable for our family long term. Training with Sarah is one of the best choices we have made.

I found Sarah and Synergy Dog Training after I had literally given up hope on my dog. He's a protective big guy that the training I had used just wasn't having the results needed. I was desperate and just about that time, I get an email from AKC identifying dog trainers and behaviorists in my area. I contacted Sarah and we had a long conversation regarding my dog, things that I had tried, and what I wanted to accomplish. After literally a handful of sessions, I was able to walk my dog comfortably - prior to this, I called it a full-body workout and had nearly stopped taking him. We are now working on greeting strangers, which is going quite well, and allowing new people into our house.
