Sarah's expertise is simply incredible! Over just four sessions, she equipped us with the essential tools to train both of our dogs effectively. From sit and stay to lay down, come, and place commands, Sarah tailored her approach based on each dog's personality and needs. Her ability to quickly analyze and adapt techniques ensured that our training sessions were productive. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. Our experience with Synergy has exceeded all expectations! We contacted Synergy when we'd hit 'rock bottom' with our pack of three. Our dogs (two nearly 8 years old, one 16) were fighting with each other on a regular basis, barking incessantly at neighbors, and getting so wound up when people came over that it was easier to just not have company. We understood that we (the humans) were likely a large part of the problem and were carrying a lot of guilt about that on top of the day-to-day difficulties. Sarah spoke with us on the phone and asked really insightful questions to get at the heart of what was going on. In less than 30 minutes, she was able to piece together our pack dynamics and determine that one of our dogs in particular was acting as the primary aggressor and should be the initial focus of training. She also gauged that we could accomplish what we needed to in four sessions, which turned out to be spot on. We had two private sessions in-person at Synergy with the dog Sarah recommended focusing on initially, and then two more sessions at our home with all three dogs. Sarah was amazing. She was very attuned to our goals, and in addition to showing us specific techniques to target those, she also coached us on reorienting our overall dynamics within the home to set everyone up for success. Even though all the techniques Sarah showed us were safe, gentle, and positive for the dogs, she checked in with us along the way to make sure we were comfortable doing what she was asking us to do. Sarah's communication was both clear and kind; while she held both us and our dogs accountable, it always felt like she was on our side. The ultimate success of this training effort will of course depend on our continued work with the pack, but after one month/four training sessions, we have seen a huge improvement. We are feeling much more comfortable and confident in our relationship with the dogs and have an improved sense of overall well-being as a result. Sarah went above and beyond in helping us, and we can't thank her enough. I highly recommend working with Synergy!

We highly recommend Sarah and her team as dog trainers. They're very knowledgeable and experienced with dog behavior so they're not only good for your average pet dog training, they're very good with behavioral issues. Not only that, but they are very fair with expectations and do not train in a one size fits all way. They're also certified through the IACP, which is an organization that has some of the most well respected dog trainers as members.
