Sweet Cream Goldens

We just picked up our second pup from Sweet Cream Goldens in two years. One, our two-year old is beautiful and well-behaved, and our puppy just as beautiful. More importantly, though, I want evreyone to know how great Bart and Heather are to work with, how professional they are, how well they respond to any questions or concerns, how they provide great instructional information leading up to the time we picked up our pup. If you have any hesitancy about getting a pup from Bart and Heather, cancel that thought!

We adopted a puppy from the Danny/Opal litter from Feb 2021. Working with Heather and Bart was an enjoyable experience. We ran into a few issues along the way and they were very professional and responsive. They found proactive solutions to move us past the obstacles and keep everything on track. In my personal experiences, I have found that when things evolve smoothly with a business transaction and relationship, you generally don't learn all that much. It is when you are presented with some challenges (albeit minor in my case), that you really learn about the values of the company or individuals that you are working with. You can be sure that Bart and Heather are good people of the highest ilk that will work with you in a true spirit of good faith to ensure that your questions are answered and concerns addressed. The process from birth to adoption was terrific. We received weekly e-mails with many paragraphs, pictures and videos detailing the changes and steps the pups were taking as they grew. Near the end, we received long videos showing them being handled (held upside down) and running around. It was clear that they were being socialized properly as they were comfortable with the human interaction throughout the process. Once the adoption day came, things went off without a hitch. It was great to finally meet Heather and Bart on their beautiful property and also see our puppy in the yard for the first time. He did great on a 8 hr trip back to Boise and did not want to be in a crate but felt more comfortable on a lap. We have had Magnus for 3 weeks now and the process has gone far more smoothly than anticipated. The pup is only 11 weeks now (78 days) and he hasn't had an accident in days. He is a very quick learner and responds well to verbal correction. He has bonded with our family and recognizes our faces and interacts with all of us in different but fun ways. We have another 2 year old golden that also shares our home and Magnus has made quick work becoming best friends with Maeve. They play together daily with no conflict at all, which is somewhat a testament to Maeve's patience. Overall, I couldn't he any happier with the experience that we had with Bart and Heather through Sweet Cream Goldens. We are set now with 2 beautiful happy and healthy dogs, but should we ever consider adding another one to the family down the road, I will be certainly be reaching out to them. If you are considering adopting a golden from Bart and Heather, please do your homework to ensure that you are ready for the process that will ensue and that your household will be compatible with the behaviors and shedding that will occur from this breed. They are wonderful dogs and should never be re-homed because folks make short sighted and/or uninformed decisions. Thank you Bart and Heather for the wonderful addition to our dog family.
