Supreme Canine

Recently moved to Nashville from Michigan and had to bring along my 9 month old german shepherd Karl with me. I enrolled Karl in Phil's 2-week puppy headstart program to help us with this big transition and the results were wonderful. His communication throughout the entire process as well as after was top notch. The facility is absolutely awesome as well. I was pretty jealous to see all the fun my dog was having with all his new friends in the daily photos/videos Phil would send. I appreciated Phil's attention to the specifics regarding my dog's personality and breed which taught us how to approach certain situations we weren't used to encountering before we moved from Michigan. He not only set up a great foundation for us to work with, but also helped me gain confidence as a first time dog owner. What stuck out to me most is how much Supreme Canine cares about you and your dogs journey together. We ran into some issues regarding suggested training equipment for Karl, and Phil was with me every step of the way. He even went as far as talking to the company of the product directly at one of the many training conventions he attends. It was great that I could speak with Phil candidly about any and all questions/comments/concerns I had both regarding Karl and even myself as a new dog owner. Phil cares a lot, bottom line. I appreciate Supreme Canine for helping guide Karl and I towards an awesome companionship and fulfilling life together. I'm very happy that I went with Phil. His guidance, knowledge, and patience helped a lot during a stressful time for us. Thank you!

I enrolled my dog Wagyu in the 2-week exclusive training program at Supreme Canine and was very impressed with the experience. From the initial phone call, meet and greet, pick up and drop off, the communication and coordination were seamless. Phil also took the time to explain each program in detail and set realistic expectations, which I really appreciated. I adopted a five-year-old pit bull in June after previously owning a lab, and I was feeling a bit out of my element. Phil’s deep knowledge and experience with high prey drive dogs gave me both reassurance and a new perspective on how they think. Wagyu is very smart and picks things up quickly, but even the commands he already knew were sharper and more focused when he came home. What I loved most was Phil’s approach to exposing dogs to different environments — from Tractor Supply to Lowe’s and PetSmart — acclimating him to all sorts of scenarios and working on skills in new settings with distractions. The daily videos and photos were great, and it was clear he was having fun while learning. The facility itself is truly a dog’s paradise, equipped with every tool and resource you could imagine. Wagyu got to play with dogs of all sizes, from a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to a St. Bernard, and you could tell he was well socialized and happy. Most importantly, you could see the bond he built with Phil, which speaks volumes about the time and care invested. This program not only sharpened Wagyu’s skills but also gave me more confidence as an owner of a misunderstood breed. It completely changed how I think about my relationship with my dog and set us up for long-term success. I would recommend Phil and Supreme Canine to anyone. Wagyu came home a confident, more focused, and happy dog. Thank you, Phil!
