Supreme Canine

We highly recommend Phil with Supreme Canine. After we put down our senior dog, we adopted a rescue pup. With her behavior issues, we couldn’t do the standard group obedience training. She didn’t trust any strangers (especially men) and would go into defensive mode- growling, barking and nipping. I looked online at a bunch of different trainers. What impressed me was all the certifications that Phil had, in addition to his years of experience. The day that I came across his website was on Labor Day. Within an hour of submitting my info on the website Phil called me! We talked for a little bit and scheduled a free consultation. He had to do things a little different than normal because of her behavior towards him. Normally he would be able to come in, sit and talk about what issues we were having and what training program would be best for us. Our pup wasn’t having that. She would not stop growling at every move he made and non stop barking. That didn’t deter Phil from helping us out. He said his goal at the end of training program was to be able to pet her. (That’s how difficult her behavior was!) After the second training session, she was giving him kisses and allowed him to pet her! Not only has he given us effective training tools to correct her behavior, his program has also taught us how dogs think and the reason behind those behaviors. His program is tailored towards exactly what we need for our pup. We are not finished with our training sessions yet, and we can’t wait to see how much more our relationship with our pup can improve from here.

I have 7 yr old dogs. Most people would say, " you can't teach an old dog new tricks", I can honestly say with Phil (Supreme Canine), this is a false statement. He has worked with our 2 dogs and they have improved physically, and mentally. One of our dogs has separation anxiety and she has improved tremendously. We still have a few behaviors to work on but with Phil at Supreme Canine I know there is hope and once more with his help, work on his part, our part, and the dogs part it can happen. So, don't ever believe you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I would like to add that Phil told us of some food that has been beneficial for our dogs. They were just laying around with no energy and know a total transition from laying around to playing and being much happier. Dogs were put here for our enjoyment but, when it comes down to it they want to see their owners happy and engaged with them. It takes effort on your part, the dogs part, and Supreme Canines part.
