Phil is an excellent dog trainer.He used his wealthy of knowledge, understanding and experience in canine training to successfully provide obedience training for my puppy. He recognized my dog’s instinctual tendencies rooted in his DNA, and customized his training plan to incorporate these tendencies. My dog is mixed breed and the Embark DNA test kit was helpful for my own understanding. Phil provided written material about dogs in general at the beginning of training. He supplemented this with hands-on and verbal instructional training the day my dog returned home. Additionally, Phil provided written material on the training techniques used, for my reference post-training. He utilized his understanding of human and canine nature and behavioral psychology to create a successful training experience and a solid foundation for me to build upon in the future. He is available post-training for questions, and any issues, as needed. I can’t say enough good things about this training experience.It has been the perfect gift for me and my dog and our relationship together.

We went to Phil with a 5 month old GSD that with our schedule and her energy it was hard to get any training done when we were home. The 2 week puppy starter program was a huge help getting her on the right track and to a point where we could take over and successfully train her with the help of Phil. We highly recommend this program and Phil’s dedication to us even after the training period had ended is 2nd to none. We can’t wait to have our pup back with him for more training!

Now, Hazel struts around the neighborhood with my parents like a brand-new dog, full of spirit and confidence. Phil’s approach is unmatched—patient, understanding, and rooted in a true love for dogs.
