We do! For most behavior concerns, we recommend starting with a private lesson package first to get customized one-on-one support. For reactive dog training, we do offer a special group class specifically for dogs that bark, lunge, and growl towards triggers (like other people or dogs) when on leash. For emergency behavior concerns and situations, we offer a Crisis Consultation, which can be a good place to start if you aren't sure what the best next options are for you and your dog's behavior challenges. From this Crisis Consultation, your trainer can recommend either a private lesson package or an appropriate group therapy class suitable for your & your dog's goals.

We have Puppy PlaySchool classes for pups as young as 9 weeks of age. If your pup is a minimum of 9 weeks of age, has been in your care for a minimum of 7 days and is on schedule with their veterinarian's recommended vaccination schedule, you are welcome to join us for class! Puppy PlaySchool is divided into two age groups - 9-16 weeks and 16 weeks-6 months. Pups who age out of Puppy PlaySchool can move up to our Level 1 classes.

We do have a few! Our Puppy classes are drop-in style, and our Level 2 Training Treks. We also allow class graduates to register for a la carte drop-ins for continued practice that works with their schedule. Great question! Our online training courses are self-study with video examples and lectures, so great for learning about common training goals and skills that are applicable to most dogs and many common goals and challenges. We have taken the lessons that work for our in-person students to create these online resources to bring a low-cost and accessible option to potential students around the world. For online students that need help building on the content they are learning in the self-study courses, we can offer more customized support through answering questions posted in our support group, as well as the option to meet virtually to discuss the specifics of you and your dog's goals and help to customize a plan as needed for your success.

Great question! For all of our classes, we require your dog to be up to date on veterinary-recommended vaccinations or have applicable vaccination titers. If this isn’t possible for your dog due to health reasons, please reach out to discuss. We do not require spay or neutering for our group classes, but please let us know if your dog comes into heat during weeks of your class. We work with dogs of all ages and abilities, and can support dogs from different socialization and skills backgrounds in a variety of our classes. If your dog is extremely fearful or has a history of aggression towards other dogs or humans, we recommend starting in private lessons first for the most support before joining a group class. For dogs that bark and lunge at other dogs on leash, we have a Reactive Dog class just for them to get started before moving to our regular class track when they are ready.

We have a group class called Cooperative Care that's all about building positive routines and emotions around veterinary and grooming care. We also have many clients working on this goal in private lessons as well, and we collaborate with a wonderful team of veterinarians and groomers for referrals for these pups that need extra support in these areas.

Great question! Our initial program of private lessons is five lessons and we do collect payment up front for these packages; we find that for most training and behavior goals, this is a good place to start. If additional training support is needed after the initial 5 lessons, we make a recommendation for a customized follow-up packages. We do offer some payment plan options for these full packages. For folks who would like to start with just a single session and get a trainer's customized recommendation on where to go from there, we recommend starting with a single-appointment Crisis Consultation, which is a great way to get a customized recommendation before committing to a full package.

This is one of our favorite subjects to teach on! Teaching for public manners starts in our Level 1 classes with general skills and emotional regulation. All of our Level 2 group classes are geared towards Colorado Life Skills and themed after different common public manners goals: Loose Leash Walking, Polite Greetings, Recalls & Stays, and - one of our favorites and most popular - Brewery Manners. Our Level 3 & beyond classes refine this skills with advanced manners challenges working towards Canine Good Citizen and Adventure Dog (hiking and other adventures) goals. We also have a drop-in Training Treks class that takes all of these skills on the road to different locations for practice in different public environments.
