Summit Canine

We recently started bringing my reactive heeler/lab mix to summit canine and we couldn’t be more excited about his progress. He did a 7 day training and he has improved so much already! The team at summit canine is incredible- they genuinely care about helping us be successful and my dog loves going there. We use to take our dog to a bigger boarding facility when we went out of town, but Summit Canine takes way better care of him and help him have more positive interactions with dogs. They also send daily photos/updates which is wonderful, especially when our dog stayed for a week! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Update - we have now taken our dog to two other board and trains and it is incredible how much his obedience and reactivity issues have improved. Mike has given us great tools to continue working on training and has treated our dog like his own pup. Thanks again for everything!

The BEST trainer ever!!! I did the 4 day training program and came home with a brand new dog! I went into training with a labrador retriever who hated walking on a leash, would pull me everywhere, and would fight every second she could against the slip leash around her nose. I had taken my dog to another trainer for a whole week to walk on a leash and saw absolutely no results. But with just 4 days at Summit Canine she learned how to undo all the bad habits she learned at the last place. I really wanted to have her walk down the aisle at my wedding October 1, so 3 weeks before she came to training at Summit Canine. Mike spent hours and hours working with her, then spent time teaching me and working with my dog each night when I picked her up. It was very easy to tell that Mile genuinely cared about my dogs progress and getting her to walk on a leash perfectly for my wedding. My dog can now walk by my side with the leash lax and ignores any distractions. And Mike is now coming to my wedding to walk her down the aisle and keep her calm and ready for pictures! So grateful for all the work Mike put in and for the stellar results I know get to enjoy!! Would recommend Summit Canine to everyone and anyone!
