FirstBarkThis was the first time I have ever worked with a dog trainer. I made an appointment for a follow up training event, mainly for my experience. However, they didn't teach me anything I already did not know. I can say, the training my dog received was outstanding. He is extremely well mannered, very obedient , and I constantly receive compliments.

Do you have puppy play groups Where are you located? Cost?
Hello Terry. We do no offer a puppy play group. We have an ongoing group basic obedience class on Monday and Saturday at 9 am. The cost is $30 per class or $200 for eight classes.

Great training techniques. Nicole took into account my dog's physical limitations, young age, and what motivates her before starting a program. She even came up with specific exercises to help with her bad leg. It was great to see my dog put so much trust into a new person and have so much fun learning.
A very professional experience. Our dog has learned a lot and so have we! We highly recommend them with your loved ones!!!
Thank you, JJ for your excellent rattlesnake advoidance training held July 16, 2017 in Mancos. You saved my Chocolate lab from being bitten by the snake in the photo. As I walked across the top of the cattle guard he went around bent his head slightly to sniff heard the rattle and was headed quickly down the hill and away. Bravo you're training saved the day.

Attended Rattlesnake Avoidance class with Jay Belchar. While hiking in the dessert my dogs took an interest in a shrub of sage brush along the trail. It was not until they were within 48" of the bush, did I realize there was a snack. My knee jerk reaction was to lunge at my dogs to grab them. One of my dogs' reactions was to instinctively jump away from me - and instead lunge OVER that snake. It turns out the snake was dead. However, this incident inspired me to attend this class. Dog trainer Jay Belchar did not disappoint. Since my dog was the only one present at the time of training, the entire process went quickly. In less than a half hour my German shepherd went from curious and moving towards the snake, to cautious and apprehensive. Mission accomplished!6
