Erika and her staff are simply amazing! Our dog is a difficult breed, Aussie Shepherd and Border Collie mix, VERY active and impossible to control. He was becoming more aggressive toward strangers and we were becoming fearful taking him out on walks. I was afraid to drop him off with her because I was sure he'd lunge and try to bite her. But she has a way with dogs that is just breathtaking. He ran toward her but she took the long leash and immediately started working with him and he chilled out right away! After just one week of board and train we saw an amazing transformation with Simo. After counseling with Erika we chose to extend the board and training to 3 weeks and it was the best decision we have made for our dog. Erika takes the time to train the humans as well and help them change behaviors just like training the dog. Erika texted us notes and short videos about Simo's progress throughout and we were astounded at the transformation we witnessed. He is such a pleasure to walk with now and it is ALL due to Erika's expertise and professionalism. We will continue to use Strutt Your Mutt's boarding services as well. I adopted the most challenging, adorable, smart pup from our local Humane Society and quickly realized I needed help from someone who could help us make her part of our pack. Our pup is now a part of our family and we have learned so much. I've had dogs all my life and I learned there is always more to learn. If you are dealing with challenging behaviors, aggression, boundary/stick/food protecting, Erika and her team will show you what you need to do differently to communicate with your dog. Her methods are positive, humane and they work.

Erika and her team are amazing. They helped my mom and I with two dogs in the past. One dog was aggressive and defensive with strangers and the other dog was aggressive and defensive with dogs. Through Erika and her team’s guidance our dogs were able to live a happy, balanced life (and so were we). I have a new dog now and moved away from Junction but I have not been able To find any one that meets their expertise! I still use Erika’s training style with my golden doodle and continue to be happy with the results. If I lived closer she would work with all my pups!
