I can’t say enough good things about Jesse and the work he does. What really stood out to me is that he does not take a cookie-cutter approach. He takes the time to understand each dog, how they learn, and then tailors his training to bring out the best in them. You can tell he truly cares about the dogs and the process. The results speak for themselves. The training is consistent, structured, and clearly built on experience. On top of that, Jesse is fair, easy to work with, and goes above and beyond for both the dogs and their owners. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and takes pride in their work, I highly recommend Jesse.

I have been taking Buck, my shorthair to Jesse since he was 10 weeks old. He is now a year and 4 months. He is the best trainer I could ask for because he will do whatever type of training you need and will teach you also how to train your dog. We now have a wired hair puppy of his, Harley (the brown and white dog in the picture with our black short hair. Harley is an amazing hunter and the perfect temperament. I love my shorthair however if you need a dog that can also chill on the couch with you, his wired hairs are the ticket. The natural ability of both breeds are amazing but controlling your dogs is key in order to have a truly successful hunt. Jesse has become a family friend and I truly can’t thank him enough for all his advice and care he has given our dogs. From obedience to holding a point he has you covered. Just make sure to listen to what he says 😉.

Several of my hunting partners and I have been the very fortunate recipients of hunting experiences with the best hunting dog handler and guide, Jesse Schneeberg, and his hunting dogs (German Wirehair Pointers and Boykin Spaniel) that we’ve ever had over the past several years at the Lone Oak Preserve in Montello, WI! In addition to Jesse’s experience and knowledge, he is very personable and sharing of that knowledge and experience. We enjoy the Lone Oak experience, and Jesse and his dogs make it a top notch adventure!

I was first introduced to Jesse at STTP earlier this spring when I was trying to locate a German wire haired breeder/trainer. When I first contacted Jesse about my two year old GWP he requested that we do a field demo of our dog Remy. I met Jesse the following Saturday and was immediately impressed with his breath of knowledge and his training ability. Once he knew that Remy had what was needed to be a great bird dog, the work was focused towards me… often overlooked… I spent six weekend days with Jesse and Remy on building my experience and ability to read her. Being new to Upland hunting, having a resource like Jesse available has proven to be invaluable. During our entire time together, Jesse sent me home with things to work on and was available to assist with questions. If you are looking for a seasoned trainer or breeder, Jesse is truly your only stop. I now have a puppy from Jesse and at six months, we are hunting over him and excited for the fall to arrive and to watch our dogs on display. Thanks Jesse!!
