I only take in a handful of dogs at one time in order to maximize safety, training and growth opportunities. I personalize programs based on owner needs, whether you’re starting with a new puppy, a rescue, or addressing specific behavioral challenges. At Stoic Canine, we believe that investing in training is an investment in your dog’s lifelong success. Jared was a huge help with my dog’s training! Mana stayed with him for 14 days to work on listening skills, leash walking, and leash reactivity. Throughout the process, Jared kept me updated with regular check-ins and videos which really put my mind at ease. When she came home, I could immediately see that she was more confident and more focused. Jared not only helped her feel more secure, but he also gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to feel more confident handling her. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I would absolutely recommend Jared to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
I was a little hesitant sending my 1 year old rescue dog away for a week, but she had lot's a fun with Jared. He was able to train her to not pull while on a walk and work on other issues I was having with her. He is an excellent trainer and keeps you updated on the training progress while in his care. He took very good care of my dog and will recommend him to friends and family.

Our 10 month old English Springer Spaniel stayed with Jared for what my husband called, "doggy sleepaway camp" and I think he had just as much fun as a kid would have had at camp! I was a little apprehensive about having him away for training, but our pup absolutely loved Jared. We were having issues with jumping up on people, not obeying recall instructions, and just general teenage puppy nonsense. Jared worked diligently with our dog to make sure he knew what was expected of him in all situations. Since he's been home, we've seen a marked improvement in many situations: he no longer tries to bolt out the door before we do; he waits patiently. He comes back when we call, and has gotten much better about four paws on the floor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jared to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
