STK9 Training Company

STK9 Training was instrumental in improving our relationship with our two Chihuahua rescues. It was definitely difficult to be away from our dogs for a full month but when they came home we received the appropriate training to continue their education. They helped build the foundation to continue to build confidence and trust and help them be the best pups they can be. We live in a a dog friendly town, so being able to share the sites with our dogs was important to us. They truly care about the dogs and take the time to adjust to their personalities and temperament to ensure that training is a rewarding experience and not only a chore. The entire team is always willing to help them reach their full potential. Their “boot camp” is only one side of the equation. As owners, we are responsible for continuing their education. STK9 team is always one phone call/email away when you need help. We are only one of the many great examples of the STK9 family and they definitely are miracle workers.

I took Wrangler, now an almost 3 year old husky, to STK9 training company a little over a year ago! Best decision ever! They helped with focus and leash training! I now can walk him without darting after squirrels and cats! We sit before crossing streets until i command him to release! He loves his walks and knows the word, as he is staring at me now as i speak lol hehehe! Thank all yall for your help in training Wrangler and ME!

Our 20 month old standard poodle was at STK9 for a month of Basic On-Leash Obedience and Basic Off-Leash Obedience. What an amazing job DG and the crew did with him. He sits, stays, heels, place, etc all on command on and off leash. DG and the crew really care about dogs and their owners! Our dog came home happy, healthy and well trained. The hardest job of training any dog is training the owners, if you listen and follow their instructions you and your dog will be better from the experience.

We could not be more pleased with ST-K9. The team has trained three of our four vizslas, all of whom were rescue vizslas with varying degrees of need -- a saintly senior who was just getting "polished up" for his therapy dog test, a very active youngster with no prior training, and -- definitely the greatest challenge -- a five-year-old who had been an outside dog his whole life, had just been neutered, and had never been house trained. In every instance, we were delighted -- and their work with the five-year-old can fairly be described as transformational. We have recommended them, and will continue to recommend them, to everyone we know who is in need of a trainer. They are compassionate, thoughtful, responsive, flexible, always professional -- and very effective. They provide detailed "homework" and videos that make it possible for you to keep your dog as well-trained as the day he or she comes home.

Really awesome place. Brought my rescue pup here for training as he was skittish, not confident, etc. and they came up with a training plan for obedience and also suggested a few other areas to focus on to keep our dog stimulated (nose work and dock diving). Not only is their training top notch, but they are extremely knowledgable with the dog community and will help you find the appropriate vets (if you have a breed that wouldn't fare well at a normal vet), other training specialists outside of their wheel house, etc. Would definitely recommend.
