Stephanies Dog Training

I’ve taken many classes with Stephanie. She is very knowledgeable and shares her gift of training dogs with her clients. She spends a lot of time explaining the how and why of dog training and shows how to actually get results with your pup. Stephanie has years of experience and a great heart and understanding of her doggy clients! I’m already signed up for our next class with Stephanie and we are looking forward to it!

Great instructor. My lab puppy Skip and I have done classes with her since he was 4 months old. It's been 10 months and we are currently in her Therapy Dog Training course and it's going great. During this time span, we've taken puppy elementary, middle, and high school (each is a set of 6, one-hour classes). We also have taken the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) set of courses, and some drop in classes on various topics. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to training dogs. The classes book up very fast, but if you can get into one, I highly recommend it (I tried to find a puppy class when Skip was 2 months, but basically everywhere was full except Petco, so I signed up with Petco, but also signed up for the next open class with Stephanie, which was 2 months later - I guess my point is that you should sign up now, even if the next open class isn't for a couple of months). Well worth it, she's a great instructor!

We met Stephanie years ago with our first dog, Diesel. He took to her immediately. We went all the way through with him (Grammar school all the way to CGC class, and some fun ones after that). We joke that he has is pursuing his PhD. We receive compliments about Diesel's behavior all the time. He started as a crazy, clunky, 100lb boy, and has grown into a refined gentleman. Now, with our second pup, Clover, we followed Stephanie to her own training facility and we were not disappointed. One thing that I really admired when retaking some classes with Clover is that she had made some changes to her approach. She stays up to date on training and adjusts her approach when she believes it is time to do so. I love that! Clover came with other challenges that we didn't experience with Diesel and Stephanie was ready to share any and all advice! Most recently, Stephanie made the announcement that she was adding a new staff member to her team, Krissy. When signing Clover up for High School, Krissy was the instructor. I was sad to not have Stephanie but I trusted her choice in another trainer. Let me tell you, Krissy was AMAZING. She was personable but held high expectations for the dogs and their owners and it showed. Although it was her first class, it was run so beautifully. I am happy to say that Clover graduated from High School and had a great experience! I truly notice a change in Clover's behavior and that is because of the work done by these amazing women. So sign up for training classes here! You won't regret it!

When I got my puppy at 8 weeks, we got her right into puppy school with Stephanie... here I am, 3 years later, back with Stephanie. My dog lost a lot of time where we could have been training because of 2 knee surgeries, but we were welcomed back with open arms. Krissy was shadowing our first round of classes back and you could just tell right away she was going to be great. I had no insecurities taking high school with her. We learned so much and she always seemed to follow up her instructions with the answer to a question I hadn't even asked. I'm excited to take this next class with her as well! No matter which trainer, my experience hasn't been anything but wonderful!
