Alan trained my Brittany Spaniel and did a wonderful job. Alan works with a kennel as a partner to board the dog and he trains them daily right next to the kennel. It is a great environment and my dog genuinely loved Alan...he is the hunting dog whisperer. Alan combines a number of techniques working with the dogs so he blends techniques to build the best hunting dog. I rescued a year and half old French Brittany that had some behavioral issues I could not correct. I sent him to Alan for his two week obedience course and I got a different dog back. I can now control my dog and he is in control of himself. He has less anxiety and is well behaved now. My dog will be going back to Alan this fall for bird training. I can't recommend Alan enough. He has a very calm demeanor that I'm sure aids in training.

Alan applies his wealth of experience towards training your dog. He is a disciple of the Gibbons West method. However he is agile enough to tailor a program towards the dog’s individual needs versus forcing the dog through some rigid program. He is knowledgeable about numerous techniques, pleasant to work with, and he genuinely likes what he does and the dogs he works with. I interviewed numerous trainers before I eventually chose Alan.
