We brought our pit bull to Yvette a year ago when he was two years old. We wanted to be able to leave him in a cage-less environment when we're gone and he had been kicked out of all the options closer to our home because of his excessively high energy--he wore out the other dogs! Yvette kept Hercules for four weeks and gave us back a different dog. He was still loving, friendly and happy, but he was much calmer and, even better, much more obedient. We have worked very hard to support her techniques at home and we have been rewarded beyond what we could have expected. We live in a rural area and we can now take walks off leash because his obedience and responsiveness are so dependable. He is good with everyone he meets, including small children and other dogs. This has resulted in a major boost to everyone's quality of life--Hercules gets lots of chances to run and we can enjoy having a dog who responds to our commands. We get a LOT of compliments from people who can't believe how much he's changed. Pit bulls are often pre-judged because of their "reputation" and we are very gratified to be able to report that he has won over several of our friends who were initially very wary of him. He has to stay with Yvette every couple of months when we travel and it's quite obvious how much she cares about him. She is continually pushing US to keep pushing HIM to achieve even better behavior! We feel a tremendous amount of respect--and gratitude--for Yvette and recommend her very highly.

Yvette and her assistant/BFF/black lab are the most wonderful trainers and the most trustworthy and caring dog "sitters" I've had the good fortune of meeting! When my pup was very small he already had a wild streak and the rescue organization recommended Yvette and we've never looked back. I don't have a car but I make sure to get my Dreidel out there (from Brooklyn) anytime I'm gone longer than three days. I sleep so well knowing he's in the best possible hands and having the time of his life while also getting a little brush up on his manners. Yvette has no tolerance for misbehavior or disrespect from her pack and it shows. She runs the show (along with Princess) with a strong hand but also with kindness beyond words and loves each of "her dogs" as if they're her own. There is a pool in the backyard just for the dogs and lots of doggie life vests in assorted sizes. While your pup is there you'll get lots of pictures from Yvette that will make you wish that you too could be there. Very reasonably priced for such loving and attentive in home care. Everyone goes home with a bath and she only feeds them the best quality kibble. I can't recommend Yvette (and Princess) enough and I wouldn't want to leave my dog with anyone else.
