Taking my dog to Yvette was the BEST investment I could have ever made. My dog was extremely anxious and would constantly eat anything on my countertops! Yvette helped to tame his anxiety and train him properly. Not only does Yvette dedicate so much of herself to the dogs, but she also dedicates her time to her customers. She will always reach out and check in to see how my dog is doing and help me with any questions I may have. Yvette is insanely genuine, thoughtful, and hard working. I wouldn't trust leaving my dog with anyone else. I am constantly getting compliments on how obedient my dog is. I am so beyond appreciative of her and her training. I HIGHLY recommend you send your dog to her as well!

I've stumbled upon Yvette @StayPlayNTrain by accident almost 6 years ago and I'm thrilled that I did! I was planning on getting help from Petsmart's training program for my girl Jesse, at that time she was 9 months old and had severe anxiety issues. Yvette's number was given to me by a lady at the dog park but I completely forgot about it and thought I was dialing Petsmart.I was a complete stranger to her, yet, she took the time to listen and advice me for over an hour on the phone. I explained that my husband was not on board and I had serious concerns about Jesse (German shepherd/Lab) and how will I ever be able to walk her, have her socialize with other dogs and help her with her anxious behavior. After meeting with Yvette, I was convinced that's what I wanted for my girl but I had to put it on hold since it was essential that both parents were in agreement and will follow through. Fast forward, 5 years later. I finally had my dream for Jesse come true! I kept telling Yvette, what if it's too late? What if she's too old and too set in her behavior? She kept assuring me that it's never too late. Dogs live in the moment. She will do well. That kept me going till I was able to bring her to training. I knew It would be an incredible opportunity for my girl to learn balance and be able to socialize with other dogs. Be around cats, birds, squirrels without barking uncontrollably. As I look at most of her photos, it's always been me and her. Playing soccer, playing indoors, cuddling, but I can see in her eyes, the needed to be a part of a pack. I could feel her struggle with anxiety and needing to lead, instead of being led. I knew she'll be a happier, freer, more balanced dog. Throughout her training, Jesse made several furiends as she became part of the pack, she learned how to swim for the first time in her life, and was swimming daily! And above all she learned to let someone else lead her which made her a much more relaxed dog. Today, we both can't thank Yvette enough! Every day we encounter several dogs on our walks who are barking, lunging at other dogs and dragging their walker down the block. It is such a relief to ba able to walk her without these concerns. Jesse is still the same excitable, playful dog who loves soccer and cuddles but she learned boundaries and letting go of her dominant role. We could be in our backyard surrounded by cats, squirrels and birds and at any given moment that I call her, she comes running back to me. I have taken her on Uber/Lyft rides several times without any issues. Been getting compliments about her walking, especially from people who struggle with their dogs. Best of all and to me, it's priceless, is her ability to finally truly relax knowing that she has a leader. I am forever grateful to StayPlayNTrain training school for being so much more than your ordinary training program! It really is all about the dogs!
